Tara Hartnett and Richard Wood of Whitefield, NH entered
Clay Hill Farm’s GreenWedding Giveaway Contest
and have made the top 5 finalist. The contest in essence is to
promote your shade of green, and what it means to you, in order to educate others
while being able to compare our commitments to being green
with our commitments to each other.
Tara & Rich prepared a video and essay entry for the contest that can be
seen at www.greenweddinggiveaway.com.
Currently we are trying to spread the green message to as many as possible. There are
fundamental decisions that each and every person make each day that have a serious
impact on our future. We try to be as sustainable as possible in each decision we
make, whether it be to support a local farmer, or to choose to not each a product that
only comes from a thousand miles away in a particular season. A bottle of water, or
refilling a glass bottle. Each and every decision throughout the day can make an impact
positive or negative. We strive to pass along the education that we have received and
to spread the word to others, while continuing our education
with others that cross our paths.
As a finalist in the green wedding giveaway from Clay Hill Farm, we are ambassadors to
the green cause. We are working hard to pass along education on being green.
Each couple is asked to help clay hill promote being green. On there website you can vote
for who you think is the greenest couple.
The couple who receives the most votes is rewarded with
a green wedding at Clay Hill Farm in Cape Neddick, Maine
and a honeymoon away.
Clay Hill has a numerous amount of fabulous local green businesses
sponsors to help promote this cause.
